This March, The Bowmans donated half of our CD sales to Stand With Haiti and Partners In Health, an organization that has been working hard for over 20 years in improving the health and lives of Haitians. The new, self-titled album intimately captures The Bowmans in moving, live-like performances of Sarah Bowman's original songs with delicate instrumental enforcements. Malcolm Burn maintains their integrity while adding his brilliant brushstrokes to complete the picture, blending together Sarah and Claire's vocal and instrumental performances with his own and those of two other guest performers.
Sarah has been busy at work, having completed new songs to be recorded for her next solo album, and eventually for a future Bowmans release. Sarah’s solo album, Empty Houses, is scheduled for release in early 2011.
Claire is gaining a following for her creative masterwork with the Begonson videos. Claire has been creating musical story shorts featuring the animated cat, John Begonson.
